Ikaarvik, or “bridge”, is a group of Northern youth bridging research and communities, Indigenous Knowledge and Western science, emphasizing the value of indigenous work in Arctic science. How do we “zip together” Western and Indigenous science as full partners in research from start to finish? How do we take the best of both worlds in a quest to work and relate more meaningfully together?
