American Geophysical Union Meeting 2014

The American Geophysical Union is coming up. Join nearly 24,000 Earth and space scientists, educators, students, and other leaders in San Francisco, California, 15-19 December, as they gather to present groundbreaking research and connect with colleagues. Polar sciences are well represented at this meeting so it may be of increased interest to you as part of our polar community.

GIFT WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS:

Geophysical Information for Teachers (GIFT) Workshops allow science teachers to hear about the latest geoscience research from the scientists making the discoveries, explore new classroom resources for their students, and visit exhibits and technical sessions of the AGU meeting for free. Attend as a teacher, or Apply now to present at GIFT 2014: Applications due 6 August

EXPLORATION STATION (PUBLIC EVENT):

Exploration Station is a program of activities organized by the various AGU sections and focus groups. Exploration Station is an opportunity for these organizations to bring their exhibits and hands-on activities to the Fall Meeting and interact with the public in San Francisco.
